What is a Kua number?
Your Kua number (Gua Shu) is calculated from your birth year and gender. It determines your personal lucky and unlucky directions. There are 9 possible Kua numbers (1-9), each with 4 lucky and 4 unlucky directions.
How do I calculate my Kua number?
For males: Add the last two digits of birth year, reduce to single digit, subtract from 10. For females: Add last two digits, reduce to single digit, add 5. If result is 10, reduce to 1. Our BaZi calculator does this automatically.
